Co-Teaching: Moving from Theory to Practice

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Bring your portable digital device to help explore common environmental and attitudinal barriers to effective co-teaching and learn how co-teachers can overcome those barriers to provide high quality differentiated instruction in their co-taught inclusive classrooms. Participants will join in a discussion about the environmental conditions that promote co-teaching and the characteristics that exemplify effective co-teaching practices. Co-planning strategies and tools that can mitigate shortages in common planning time will be introduced, demonstrated, and discussed.
